My name is Madeline, and I am so happy to meet you.

With nearly a decade of experience in the industry, I am currently freelance full time with NYC as my home base, while also assisting and working with industry greats such as mentors Cassandra Garcia (Bobbi Brown’s Global Makeup Artist, Key MUA to several SNL stars), and Troy Surratt (Kevyn Aucoin's Assistant, Founder of Surratt Beauty.) I do a broad range of work, from fine-art bridal, to celebrity clients, to commercial and editorial, and absolutely love that each and every day on set is filled with something different, new, and exciting.

After growing up within the musical theatre world and being exposed to makeup artistry backstage, I knew I wanted pursue hair and makeup as my full time career. A letter of recommendation from Bobbi Brown of Bobbi Brown Cosmetics led me to Emerson College, where I received a Theatre Studies degree with a concentration in makeup artistry, and a minor in Marketing. The rest was history.

Cultural and global understanding is hugely important to me and my business; I have worked all over the world (15 countries + counting!) From United States cities such as New York, Denver, and Los Angeles, to European countries like France, Greece, and Italy. I've done hair and makeup in the jungles of Bali, and Morocco's Agafay Desert— all the way to Caribbean locations such as Puerto Rico and the small island of Petit St. Vincent in the Grenadines. This cultural awareness has only further enforced some key values that are reflected here at Madeline Eleanor + Co., such as strong support of the LGBTQIA+ communities, and Black Lives Matter movement. Diversity, inclusion, and the true support of others in feeling their absolute best is at the very heart of what we do here.

Madeline sees her work in Sephora for the first time at the Bobbi Brown counter. She was one of the artists behind a recent Concealer and Corrector campaign for the brand, which was seen internationally at Bobbi Brown and Sephora counters.

As big as weddings are in her life, Madeline spends tons of time working on set with celebrity and public figures, commercial clients for campaigns and e-commerce, as well as editorial shoots and fashion shows. Variety is the spice of life, as they say!

Family is a huge part of Madeline's life, and she feels incredibly blessed to work closely with her older sister, Sophie Kaye, who is a hugely talented international wedding, commercial, and editorial photographer. They go by "The Kaye Team" when booked together!

Touch up services, on the go! Madeline gives her model a quick touch up on an antique boat in Lake Garda, Italy -- Touch ups are built into editorial and commercial work, but we offer those services to our brides as well!

Madeline is a major animal lover - she has worked on set with camels, elephants, horses, monkeys, and a whole myriad of other creatures! Her first love will always be her doggy-son, Bowie, her Toy Australian Shepherd.

All of our in-studio appointments, such as our Signature Bridal Preview, takes place at Madeline's Brooklyn home! We provide all bridal trial services here for both Madeline and her team artists on weekdays from 12-3, or 3-6pm.

Madeline led her first NYBFW (New York Bridal Fashion Week) show for Anne Barge, completing hair and makeup with her team for three days of press previews, and then a larger party and press event at the Nine Orchard.

One of our specialties is bringing perfected, elevated, natural glam to different destination weddings and workshops around the globe! Madeline has worked in 15 different countries, and visited countless cities around the world.

Madeline on set in the Agafay Desert, Morocco with AMV Retreats. She was brought to Morocco to do hair and makeup for three different shoots - some involving camels (and the opportunity to ride them!)

The Madeline Eleanor Crest - hand drawn by Madeline herself. It features key elements of Madeline's life woven into a branded piece! If you look closely, you'll find makeup brushes and a compact, and floral elements that pull from the wallpaper in her studio.

"Hiring Madeline was truly one of the best decisions I made during the wedding planning process. She is an incredible artist. I have never felt more beautiful than on my wedding day, and all credit goes to Madeline.
During the trial process, she was meticulous and patient. From the moment I sat down in her chair, it was so obvious that her goal was to make sure that I felt my best, trying multiple hair styles and working with me to craft the perfect makeup look to match my overall wedding aesthetic. I am endlessly grateful for her patience and dedication. On the wedding day itself, my hair and makeup was flawless -- despite the Santorini wind and heat. Most importantly, I cannot underscore her incredible warmth and energy. She made my other-in-law feel so pretty, and was the ultimate hype-woman. If I had one piece of advice for brides - it's that they should hire her.

Madeline and her work are absolutely phenomenal! I had an international wedding, and was worried that with the local options I wouldn't look my best on my wedding day. I found Madeline on Instagram, and loved her style and previous work -- I felt like it was exactly how I wanted to look on my wedding day. After the initiial trial, I knew I had to book her! Madeline has amazing training, a beautiful portfolio, and is a true professional. She is such a kind person and listens to exactly what you want while giving her best professional advice. I would recommend hiring her a hundred times over!

"I have worked with Madeline at 4 high-end photography workshops at the French Riviera, Tuscany, and Santorini. These are demanding events where a number of models must be prepared quickly and have flawless hair and makeup that will last for several hours. The quality of Madeline’s astounding hair and makeup artistry is exceptional. Her styling ingenuity, the kindness with which she treats everyone around her, and her capacity to make her models feel beautiful and respected are an uncommon mix of abilities. Her models shine as if from within. I cannot speak highly enough about Madeline. She has a soul that is as delicate as her brush strokes."

When I think back on my wedding day for years to come, I will always remember how beautiful I felt, but most importantly how incredibly like myself I felt—and that was because of Madeline. She helped me look exactly how I envisioned myself as a bride and I cannot accurately describe how good of a feeling that was. Her and her team of superstar assistants are beyond anything you could want from a HMU crew—their talent, professionalism and artistry are unmatched. After my trial, we decided on a few little tweaks and Madeline executed them to perfection. Don’t look any further for your HMU needs—Madeline is it ❤️
