The Process

As any seasoned veteran of the wedding industry will know — your wedding day, or, 'the happiest day of your life’, is not just about one day at all. As much as we at Madeline Eleanor + Co. absolutely adore the rush of getting-ready on your Big Day — from the seemingly endless bubbly, to that final mist of setting spray and swipe of lipstick, the most important part to our artists is ensuring that you feel gorgeous and tended to from the day you reach out, to the moment we depart your venue.

To us, having an artist who understands the importance of looking and feeling your best, while also providing you with the knowledge and guidance necessary to find a flawless, timeless look that you will love for years to come as you look back on your photos, is integral to your wedding experience. As a global artist, Madeline truly understands the extra something-special about bringing in an artist whose style truly matches that of your own. You can trust that you and yours are in the best of hands.

Common Questions

Our team carries only high end products from luxury brands like Tom Ford, La Mer, NARS, Bobbi Brown, Dior, Kevin Murphy, and more. All products have been tested extensively to ensure they can deliver long-wear, flawless-finish results.

01     What products do you + your team carry?

Once we have gotten all of the details about your big day through our inquiry form, we'll send a custom proposal your way for review. In order to officially hold your date, we require a 50% non-refundable retainer payment and signed contract.

02    How do we book our event in your schedule?

We recommend that clients book their previews for within 1-2 months before their big day. This is the best way to ensure that your skin tone and texture, as well as hair color and length, will be most similar to the big day. While 99% of our clients book us prior to preview appointments, we understand that some may prefer a trial before securing their date. Please reach out with your wedding day details for our trial availability at the Brooklyn studio!

03   When should I book a preview/trial appointment?

TLDR; We do not! Our artists firmly believe that less-is-more when it comes to skin, and prefer classic application methods, as you can more intimately control product, and keep skin looking fresh and light while covering any imperfections. With the right techniques, we are able to achieve the same staying power and coverage that comes with airbrush, without the application heaviness and health hazards associated.

04   Do you offer airbrush?

We currently require a minimum of six services (Bride +3, for example), not including hair and makeup previews, for any Friday or Saturday wedding bookings.

05   Do you have a minimum for booking?

There are no additional travel fees for any Manhattan or Brooklyn based events, unless an early start (before 8am) is needed. All bookings outside of the NYC metropolitan area are responsible for covering the cost of travel (air fare, rental cars, mileage, tolls, train fare, etc.) which will be included in proposals and discussed with clients.

06   Do you charge for travel?

One of our very favorite parts of the business is teaching others how to do their own hair and makeup in both a one on one and class setting. Inquire with Madeline to set up your next makeup party!

07   Do you offer education and/or makeup lessons?
